Privacy Notice

HIMO Studio operates himostudio.me and the private HIMO Studio workspace. HIMO is responsible for personal information collected through its website, inquiries, team accounts, and its own business records. When HIMO handles personal information solely to deliver work for a client, the client may be responsible for deciding how that information is used and HIMO handles it under the client agreement.

• Inquiry details such as name, email, company, message, goals, timeline, budget range, and requested capabilities.
• Team account details such as name, email, profile photo, role, client assignments, and account status.
• Client and project records, including contacts, notes, plans, tasks, schedules, comments, approvals, assets, usage rights, and limited commercial records.
• Security and activity records, including sign-in events, changes made in the workspace, and audit history. Hosting and authentication providers may also process IP address, device, and request-log information.
• Files and their metadata, including file name, type, size, creator credit, source, usage rights, and rights-expiry date.

HIMO uses personal information to assess and answer inquiries, prepare and deliver creative work, manage clients and projects, operate accounts and permissions, keep schedules and production records, document decisions, protect the service, meet legal and contractual duties, and establish or defend legal claims.

Depending on the context, processing is based on steps requested before a contract, performance of a contract, a legal obligation, consent where the law requires it, or HIMO’s legitimate business and security interests after considering the person’s rights. Providing optional inquiry details is voluntary, although HIMO may need a name, contact address, and enough context to respond.

Access inside HIMO is limited by role and client assignment. HIMO also uses service providers to operate the system: Supabase for database and authentication services, Vercel for web hosting, Cloudflare R2 for private file storage, and Resend for authentication email delivery. They process information to provide those services and may operate infrastructure outside the Philippines. HIMO does not sell personal information.

Information may also be disclosed when a person asks HIMO to do so, when needed to deliver an agreed service, or when required by law or a lawful government request.

The workspace uses necessary authentication storage to keep signed-in users secure and a preference cookie to remember the chosen color theme. HIMO does not currently use advertising cookies, visitor profiling, or optional analytics on this site. If optional tracking is introduced, this notice and the consent controls will be updated before it is enabled.

HIMO keeps information only while it is needed for the purpose described above, active work, contractual or legal duties, security, or dispute records. The exact period depends on the record and the applicable client agreement. Information that no longer has a valid purpose should be securely deleted or anonymized under HIMO’s retention process.

HIMO uses access controls, database row policies, encryption in transit, private object storage, short-lived file links, audit records, and backups appropriate to the service. No internet service can promise absolute security. Please avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information through the public inquiry form.

Subject to the Data Privacy Act of 2012, you may ask to be informed about processing, access or correct your information, object or withdraw consent where that is the applicable basis, request erasure or blocking where allowed, receive portable data where applicable, and seek compensation or complain about unlawful processing. HIMO may need to verify your identity before acting on a request and may retain a record where the law permits or requires it.
